WCBA is in the process of developing a Children's Museum and Enrichment Center that will serve as a resource to our community but to also help support the mission of providing financial support for therapy and equipment to children in Eastern NC. 

 

This facility will be located in New Bern, NC. Timeline on building and opening this facility is targeted to mid 2026. This facility will:

• Provide an inclusive and hands on experience to support the physical and cognitive development for children ages 0-12 years of age through play
  • Gross motor and sensory gym
  • Fine motor classroom
  • Communication tools
  • Community play areas
  • Accessible outdoor play area
• A therapy pool facility to be used by trained professionals to serve classes for the public
• A snack bar/refreshment area that will train and employ individuals with disabilities

 

This facility will be open to the public but can also be rented privately for use by therapists or for birthday parties. Day passes and memberships will be available for purchase.
